Description: Born in Holland in the 70's, and airlifted to New Zealand in the early 80's by slightly left-leaning parents searching for space and freedom. I grew up largely in small town NZ (Katikati and Waihi) before attending University and Polytech in Hamiltron. Raised by atheist parents, I am proud to carry on the tradition of disbelief and skepticism which in my case also extends to AGW, peak oil, current whack-job interpretations of the Treaty, and pretty much anything the UN says. My wife and I are currently working on moving to small(er) town South Island as this seems to be the last bastion of New Zealand as many think of it.
